Anybody needs easy points? if u know the answer...give it a try?

what is the difference between a termination and a layoff letter?

termination means you have been fired you no longer have a job, and will not have the opportunity to come back. Lay off means, you currently no longer work there, but will be called back to work at a later time, when you industry or demand picks back up. during a layoff you can receive compensation via unemployment, you cannot with a termination.

A layoff would redundancy, where the employer no longer needs the job so gets rid of the person. For instance, if a company had less orders than they expected and got rid of a few staff to cut costs.

Termination is more likely to refer to being fired for misconduct.
